ABOUT YOUR DOULA

Hey y’all! I go by Lilo, and I am a full-spectrum holistic traveling doula. I am from Alabama, but I decided to take my services on the road in order to provide care to women located in the South and Midwest. I have been a doula for almost a year, but I’ve been around this type of work since I was a teenager. Choosing this path came after years of being involved in general maternal and child care. I got my start with babysitting and helping with children in my family, mostly during postpartum. These interactions led me to expand my knowledge over the years. And with that, I decided to get proper training to pair with my lived experiences.

Besides my natural habit of researching and learning, I incorporate some interests and hobbies into my practice as a doula. I have many passions that range from creative to educational. I implement things like aromatherapy, music, art, breathwork, yoga, and more in my doula work. These tools help me create a more personalized and nurturing experience for the women and families I support.

This is just a small introduction. As we work together, I'm sure you will learn more about me. And with that, I will learn about you.

A Love Letter To My People

Since being on this journey, I have found an unwavering appreciation for the women before me. Having the ability to elevate those that paved a way while still honing my own path has been nothing short of amazing. I am made up of everything you lost, gained, protected, preserved, and sacrificed. Without you, there is no me. And without GOD, there is no us. I have taken the time to get to know myself for me—no validation or influence, just the real. I realize that there is a lot more to myself that I didn't see. I have been in a constant state of death and rebirth since young, never making sense of it until recently. SieloLuxe Wellness has been a dream (or so I thought) of mine since 12. It didn't take long to realize what that "dream" was. You've seen the bad days. The tears and frustration. Anger and rage. Or the softness of my eyes while in peace. The tension released from my body once I surrendered. I knew then I was safe. I was home again. Thank you for being a catalyst in my life—a force to be reckoned with and a love that is indescribable. Once again... without you, there is no me. And without GOD, there is no us.
